“Chasing Purpose in a World of Pressure”
You felt loved, you felt lonely, you went through the tests of life. Little did you know that the content you watched as a kid, as an adult, was conspired and shown as entertainment, but it was bigger than just that.
You did not know how to deal with any of it. Fighting against your own desires, needs, wants, and whatnot. You desired things you never needed. You were put into a race you did not choose to run in. Ah! You see the reality now.
What do you chase now? What’s your purpose?
Do you feel the pressure of pursuing your interests while your peers are putting it out loud on social media that they finally found their interests and are doing great at it? Do you see someone on the internet, a kid 18 years old, showing off that they made it in life with all the wealth, while you, at 25 years old, don’t even know what to do for dinner?
Isn’t it frustrating to be lost for so long? Do you do justice to the life you have? For the mornings you woke up healthy, with a roof over your head and access to water and food for the day? What more is there to chase?
“Instead of running in a race you never chose, take a step back. Look at what you have, what truly matters, and what brings you joy. Gratitude for the small blessings – health, shelter, food – can anchor you while you define your own purpose, free from external expectations.”
